St. John Fisher University Athletics

Melissa Posella is St. John Fisher University’s head cheerleading coach.

Posella started her coaching career working with the Fairport Packers Youth League and at Penfield High School. Starting in 2014, Posella joined the Webster cheer community by serving as the Youth Head Cheerleading Coach for Webster Junior Warriors and Junior Titans where she still coaches today.

A Fisher graduate, Posella graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science

Posella resides in Webster, NY with her husband Tim, their four daughters Emma, Olivia, Alanna, and Sophia, and their Rottweiler Zora. In addition to coaching, she is also a Project Manager at Paychex.
