St. John Fisher University Athletics

After his collegiate playing career was cut short due to an injury, Mason Lister joined the St. John Fisher football coaching staff as an offensive assistant coach ahead of his senior year. 

A former quarterback, Lister played in eight games and started in seven for the Cardinals as a junior in 2025. He completed 63% of his passes for 1,309 yards with 10 touchdowns to five interceptions and rushed for 313 yards with two scores en route to third-team All-Empire 8 Conference honors. In a victory over Hartwick in October of that season, Lister passed for four touchdowns and rushed for one, becoming the first Fisher player to account for five or more scores in a game since quarterback Matt Naton threw six TD passes in a win over Hartwick in November 2016.
