Logan Chase

  • Title
    Assistant Coach

Logan Chase returned to the St. John Fisher women’s lacrosse program as an assistant coach in September 2025.

A 2021 Fisher graduate, Chase assisted the Cardinals in 2023 under legendary former head coach Linda Michele. The Cardinals went 17-3 overall, won the Empire 8 championship and reached the third round of the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Chase spent the 2024 and 2025 seasons working under current Cardinals head coach Marykate Edmunds, also a Fisher women’s lacrosse alum, at SUNY Geneseo. The Knights in that span went 26-11 overall, reaching the SUNYAC title game in 2024 and the Empire 8 title game in 2025.

Chase also served as an assistant coach under Edmunds at Geneseo in 2022. The Knights authored one of the best seasons in program history that year with 15 victories, a SUNYAC title game appearance and their first trip to the NCAA Tournament since 2014. Their 19-2 win over Saint Joseph’s (Me.) in the first round marked the program’s third-ever win in the NCAA Tournament.

Still fourth in Fisher history in caused turnovers (96) and sixth in draw controls (178), Chase played for the Cardinals from 2018-21. She also amassed 112 points on 91 goals and 21 assists over 64 career games.

Chase earned All-Empire 8 first-team honors three times, second-team Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Association (IWLCA) All-Region honors twice and All-America honors from the IWLCA (second team) and USA Lacrosse Magazine (third team) in 2021. She helped lead the Cardinals to their first-ever Final Four in 2021 and earned a spot on the All-NCAA Tournament Team.

Additionally, Chase played on the St. John Fisher women’s soccer team from 2017-19, tallying seven points on three goals and an assist over 51 games (45 starts). She earned second-team All-Empire 8 honors as a junior in 2019.

After graduating from Fisher, Chase earned her master's degree in school counseling at St. Bonaventure University.
