St. John Fisher University Athletics

Dan Kuntz joined the St. John Fisher men’s and women’s ice hockey programs as an assistant coach during the 2025-26 season. He primarily works with the Cardinals’ goaltenders. 

Kuntz has over 15 years of coaching experience as a hockey coach and goalie development specialist, working across the travel, high school, junior and collegiate levels of the sport. He is the co-owner of NewEdge School of Goaltending, one of Rochester’s premier goalie development programs, providing individualized, high-level training for goaltenders of all ages.

Kuntz played collegiate hockey at Monroe Community College, where he competed for two seasons as a goaltender and earned first team All-America honors.
