Connor McJury became St. John Fisher’s head strength and conditioning coach in the fall of 2023. He joined the Cardinals’ staff after two years as an assistant strength and conditioning coach across town at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where he primarily worked with the Tigers’ basketball, volleyball, rowing, softball, swimming, baseball and soccer teams.
Before his stop at RIT, McJury spent four years as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at SUNY Cortland. He aided the Red Dragons in winning 13 conference championships and one national championship (gymnastics).
McJury has also worked in the high school setting as the head strength and conditioning coach at Victor High School. During his time working with the Blue Devils’ student-athletes, Victor won state championships in girls lacrosse and volleyball.
McJury also trained local high school athletes at Next Level Strength and Conditioning in nearby Fairport.
McJury earned his bachelor’s degree from SUNY Brockport in 2015 and attained his master’s in exercise science at SUNY Cortland two years later. He is a National Strength and Conditioning Association-certified strength and conditioning coach.
McJury currently resides in Fairport with his wife, Katie, and son, Liam.
