2025-26: Played in 27 games and started in 26 of them… led the Cardinals in multiple statistical categories, including scoring (12.0 points per game, 325 total), shooting percentage (53.9%, 128-of-239), rebounding (6.2 rebounds per game, 167 total) and blocked shots (51)...  posted a team-leading three double-doubles, including a 14-point, 11-rebound performance in a win over Nazareth on Feb. 17… had 15 points and 10 boards in a win over Keuka on Jan. 16 and 11 points with 15 boards in a loss to Nazareth on Jan. 28…. scored in doubles figures in 20 games… had a career-high 26 points while shooting 10-of-13 from the field and 6-of-8 from the foul line in a win over Elmira on Feb. 17… earned second-team All-Empire 8 Conference honors… named to the U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) Rochester Area Division II-III First Team.

2024- 2025: Appeared in 23 games and made nine starts... averaged 5.9 points and 4 rebounds per game...was second on the team with 18 blocked shots… scored 15 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as part of his first collegiate double-double on Jan. 28 against Nazareth… he also had two steals and blocked a shot in that contest… scored 12 points in just 14 minutes against Keuka on Jan. 24… scored 14 points and pulled down seven rebounds in a win over Elmira on Jan. 25, a performance that earned him Empire 8 Rookie of the Week honors. 

High school: He was a three-time sectional all-tournament selection… earned All-Greater Rochester second-team honors and was a Rochester Ronald McDonald All-Star…

Personal: Maximus is the son of  Brian and Kara Michalski... he has two siblings, Jackson and Alexandra...his father Brian played basketball at St. Lawrence...
