Coming off of a stellar playing career for the Cardinals, Emily Trotman joins the Fisher softball program’s coaching staff in 2022.
Trotman, a three-time All-Conference and All-Region player, brings a plethora of experience and mastery to the program. She was named the 2021 Empire 8 Softball Player of the Year along with earning the title of the 2021 Empire 8 Woman of the Year. In addition to that, Trotman was named a 2021 All-American and a 2021 CoSIDA Academic All-American.
Trotman can be found in the program’s hitting record books for hits, doubles, home runs, runs scored, and stolen bases and can be found in the pitching record books for career ERA, wins, innings pitched, strikeouts, and shutouts.
Alongside coaching, Trotman works as an admissions counselor for the university. She also serves as a softball instructor for Pro Diamond Baseball.
