St. John Fisher University Athletics

Cash Lawson joined the St. John Fisher men’s lacrosse program as an assistant coach in July 2023. 

A finalist for the Intercollegiate Men’s Lacrosse Coaches Association’s Outstanding Assistant Coach of the Year award in 2024, Lawson has been part of two straight Empire 8 Conference titles and NCAA Division III Tournament appearances. In 2024, the Cardinals knocked out No. 5 Wesleyan 15-13 and No. 4 St. Lawrence 11-10 en route to a matchup against eventual national champion Tufts in the national quarterfinals. 

Lawson previously served as an assistant coach for Hartwick for two years and as a graduate assistant for Clarkson for two years. 

Lawson played lacrosse collegiately at Wells College as a defender and midfielder. A team captain for the 2018 season, he was a third-team All-North Eastern Athletic Conference selection in 2017 and 2019.

Lawson graduated from Wells College in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He earned his master’s degree in business administration from Clarkson in 2021.
