Biography

Before Fisher: Played one season each at SUNY Brockport and Misericordia University… scored a goal and tallied an assist over eight games for Misericordia in 2024-25… played for the Boston Junior Rangers (EHLP) and the Islanders Hockey Club (USPHL)... earned Section V Hockey honors while playing for Pittsford Sutherland.

Personal: James is the son of Maria and Roger Powers… he has three siblings, Roger, Max and Zavey… his dad played collegiate rugby… his brother, Roger, played hockey at Buffalo State… James studies business management.

Fun Fact: He helps his father in a screen printing factory… he also helps his grandfather at the family farm… he owns a window washing business with his cousin… enjoys welding… was nominated for a nationwide welding competition in 2019.
