High School: Earned All-League football honors twice… was an All-County and All-Section baseball player… named Beacon High School’s 2024-25 Athlete of the Year… also was a member of the wrestling and swim teams. 
 
Personal: Mercer is the son of Renata and Don Mercer… he has a sister, Everly… he is majoring in finance.
 
Fun Fact: He enjoys working out in his free time… he eats some Mike and Ike’s candy before every game.
