St. John Fisher University Athletics

Daulton Newbury joined the St. John Fisher coaching staff in 2024 as defensive backs coach. He transitioned to running backs coach in March 2025. 

In his first year at Fisher, Newbury coached third-team All-Empire 8 defensive back DeAndre Green, who recorded two interceptions, one of which he returned for a score, and broke up eight passes. 

Newbury began his coaching career in 2023 at nearby St. Thomas Aquinas High School, serving as the team’s defensive coordinator. 

Newbury, a linebacker during his playing days, played collegiately at Hartwick College. He studied criminology and sociology.
