St. John Fisher University Athletics

Amir Massey joined the St. John Fisher football program as cornerbacks coach before the 2026 season. 

Massey played collegiately at Alfred and graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in coaching. A team captain for the Saxons as a senior, Massey, also a former defensive back, appeared in 26 games over four seasons. He defended two passes and snagged an interception in 2023.

A Rochester native, Massey served as the defensive backs coach and defensive passing game coordinator for the University Prep Charter School’s varsity football team during the 2024 and 2025 seasons. He was the defensive coordinator for the Rochester City Grim U15 7v7 football team in spring 2024.
