Biography

Career Highlights: Qualified for the 2025 All-Atlantic Region Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field championships in pole vault… placed second in the pole vault in the 2025 E8 outdoor championships… recorded a fourth-place finish in the pole vault during the 2025 E8 indoor championships… has also competed in the 60-meter run, 60-meter hurdles and 110-meter hurdles events. 

Career Honors: Was a second-team All-Empire 8 Outdoor performer in the pole vault as a freshman.

High School: Was a 2nd team all star for soccer… awarded track and field team MVP… was awarded outstanding field athlete at states.

Personal: Oren is the son of Chris and Julie Welch… brother of Whitney and Ethan Welch… his mother, Julie graduated from SJFU in 1996 and sister, Whitney is graduating from SJFU in 2025… he is studying business management.
