Biography

2025: Played in 18 games and started in 16 of them… led the Cardinals in goals (12) and total points (32)... finished tied for the team lead in assists (8)... had eight points on three goals and two assists in a 10-0 win over Alfred on Oct. 8… her eight points in that contest matched the third-best single-game mark in program history… tallied five or more points in four games… earned second-team All-Empire 8 Conference honors.

2024: Played in 17 games and started in two… tallied four assists and took 12 shots.

High School: Ended her time at Little Falls High School as the program's all-time leader in career goals (43) and assists (33)... was a three-time All-Center State first-team selection, a two-time Section III All-Star selection, a two-time All-Central NY selection, a two-time All-Mohawk Valley selection, and an All-NY State honoree in 2023... helped Little Falls win two Section III titles... participated in track... was a three-time Section III champion.

Personal: Avery is the daughter of Sean McLaughlin and Gina Liscio… has seven siblings... she studies nursing.
