St. John Fisher University Athletics

2024-25: Named Empire 8 Women’s Golfer of the Week four times… earned first-team All-Empire 8 honors with a second-place finish in the conference tournament in September… placed in the top 15 in six tournaments… had her best performance of the season in the Ithaca Invite, shooting an 87 on the first day followed by an 80 on the second… earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District At-Large honors… had a season average of 87.3 strokes, the best mark on the team... named to the 2025 NCAA Division III College Communicators Academic All-District Women's At Large Team.

2023-24: Had her best performance of the season in the McDaniel Spring Invite…  she carded an 88 to place third out of 27 golfers in the tournament.

High School: Played golf and volleyball… graduated with high honors. 

Personal: Sarah is the daughter of Carla and Richard Burgess… she has a sister, Jessica, who graduated from Fisher in 2025… she is majoring in biology and minoring in chemistry and psychology.

Fun Fact: Before every round, she marks all of her golf balls the same way.
