2021: Competed in seven meets ... Earned a trip to the AARTFC Outdoor Championship in the long jump where he leapt 6.67 meters ... Recorded a career-best outing at the Emppire 8 Outdoor Championships where he recorded PRs to take third in the long jump (6.71 meters) and second in the triple jump (13.08 meters) ... Named Second-Team All-Empire 8 for his finish in the triple jump (outdoor) and long jump (indoor).

High School: Was a member of the varsity track and field program and football team from 2017-19 ... Recipient of the Coaches Award for football and track and field ... Named a team captain ... Qualified for states in both the indoor and outdoor seasons ...  Was the sectional champion in the long jump and the 4x4 relay.

Personal: Matt is the son of Kathleen and Peter ... A Finance major, he was a member of the National Honor Society in high school.
