PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher women's tennis team rolled to a 7-0 non-league victory over SUNY Fredonia on Friday night at the Midtown Athletic Club, improving to 3-2 on the season.
The Cardinals swept the Blue Devils in doubles and won all six singles matches in straight sets.
Senior Isabella Busch and sophomore Adriana Colafranceschi claimed a 6-2 win at first doubles, and junior Sydney Emerson and freshman Mady Etter won 6-1 at second doubles. The Cardinals won by forfeit at third doubles.
Colafranceschi and Busch improved to 4-1 on the year in singles with victories in the second and third singles spots, respectively. Senior Lily Miller earned her second victory of the season at first singles.
Sophomore Emma Mihajlovic won at fourth singles, while senior Anna Exford emerged victorious at fifth singles. The Cardinals won by forfeiture in sixth singles.
