BROCKPORT, N.Y. – Four St. John Fisher wrestlers placed as the Cardinals racked up 82.5 team points and took seventh in the SUNYAC Championships on Saturday.
Host SUNY Brockport won the team title with 167 points and was followed by SUNY Cortland (155), Ithaca (149), Oneonta State (139.5) and RIT (115.5). Oswego State finished just ahead of Fisher in sixth place.
Sophomore Charlie Rossner led the Cardinals with a fifth-place finish in the 184-pound bracket. Senior Derek Bernardino (133), sophomore Justin Coiteux (149) and freshman Aidan LeStrange (197) wrestled to sixth-place finishes in their respective weight classes.
