POTSDAM, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher University women's volleyball team made quick work of a pair of opponents to begin its weekend in the North Country on Friday night, sweeping Plattsburgh State and Clarkson University. The Cardinals have won four consecutive matches since opening the year with a loss to No. 18 Ithaca.
Junior Kaylene Noble and freshman Kalyna Dannenberg each finished the night with 24 kills. Noble logged hitting percentages well above .300 in both matches.

The Cardinals hit .300 as a team as they cruised to a 25-14 victory in the opening set. Dannenberg led the Cardinals with four kills in the frame.

Noble put on a dominant performance as Fisher took the second set 25-18, slamming eight kills. The Cardinals hit .333 as a team in the set.

Fisher completed the sweep in the third set with a 25-17 victory. Dannenberg, sophomore Lydia Fraser and senior Marilyn Whitcavitch each had three kills.

The Cardinals rolled to a 25-12 victory in the opening set behind seven kills from Noble and five from Dannenberg. Fisher had 17 kills and hit .375 in the set.
