PITTSFORD, N.Y. – St. John Fisher men's cross country junior Jace Stuart set a personal record and placed fifth in the seventh annual Fisher-Rodenbeck 6k to open the 2025 season on Friday evening. The Cardinals finished in sixth place as a team.

Stuart logged a time of 19:38.8, nearly a minute faster than his previous best 6k time of 20:03.1. He finished just behind Buffalo's Cameron Bogdan (first place) and three Geneseo runners – Collin Brown (second), Ian Zehnder (third) and James Tette (fourth).

Senior Will Chubb had the Cardinals' second-best time, finishing in 20:54.8. He set a personal record with that mark.
