PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher men's and women's cross country teams open the 2025 season at home on Friday with the seventh annual Fisher-Rodenbeck Invitational.
The women's 4,000-meter race begins at 6 p.m. and will be followed by the men's 6,000-meter race at 6:45. Results will be available via Leone Timing.

Athletes To Know
Caitlin Voloshen (Sr., WXC) – Voloshen last season set a personal record and placed 11th in the Empire 8 Cross Country championship 6k, recording a time of 22:36.9. That time marked the second-fastest by a Fisher women's runner on the Houghton 6k course. The two-time All-Empire 8 performer also recorded fourth-place finishes in the Fredonia and St. John Fisher races.
Olivia Grinnell (Sr., WXC) – Grinnell recorded a top-40 finish in the NCAA Division III Niagara Region Championship 6k at Fredonia State last fall with a time of 23:31.1, earning a spot on the 2024 USTFCCCA All-Region team. She also ran her way to second-team All-Empire 8 honors with a personal-best time of 23:03.1 in the conference championship 6k.
Will Chubb (Sr., MXC) – Chubb set a personal record in the 8k with a time of 27:43.9 in the Empire 8 Cross Country Championships. He clocked his best collegiate 6k time (21:19.1) in the 2022 Fisher-Rodenbeck race.
Jace Stuart (Jr., MXC) – Stuart logged a personal record 8k time (26:24.3) in the E8 Championships and a personal record 5k time (15:42.8) in the Hamilton College Short Course race last fall. The 2023 All-Empire 8 performer also had a strong showing in the 2024 Fisher-Rodenbeck Invite, placing fifth in the 6k with a time of 20:03.1, one of the fastest times ever recorded by a Fisher men's runner on that course.
