PITTSFORD, N.Y. – Four St. John Fisher men's tennis players have earned All-Empire 8 Conference honors for the 2025 season.

Sophomore Tyler Hernandez earned All-E8 first-team honors in singles. The 2024 E8 Rookie and Player of the Year posted a 7-4 singles record, including a 6-2 mark in Empire 8 play. 

Hernandez also earned second-team doubles recognition with his partner, junior Will Chubb. Junior Sean Brown and sophomore Trentyn Grant also garnered All-E8 second-team doubles honors. 

Senior Mason Shute was selected as Fisher's Sportsman of the Year. One member of each team was named that institution's representative on the 2025 Empire 8 Men's Tennis Sportsman of the Year Team.
