DALLAS, Pa. – The No. 13 St. John Fisher men's volleyball team finished with regular season with a five-set victory over Stevenson and a sweep of No. 19 Misericordia on Saturday afternoon. The Cardinals improved to 24-8 overall with the victories.
Match 1: St. John Fisher 3, Stevenson 2

The Cardinals lost the first set 29-27 and the second set 25-19 before rallying to win three consecutive sets. Fisher took the third set 27-25, the fourth 25-16 and the fifth 15-12.

Graduate senior Griffin Stella led the Cardinals to the third-set victory with six kills. The Cardinals hit .306 as a team and slammed 14 kills in the set.

Junior Aiden Calhoun had five kills as the Cardinals dominated Stevenson in the fourth set, 25-16.

The Cardinals led from start to finish in the fifth set, which they began on a 7-1 run. Stella tallied three kills and a block in the frame.

Stella slammed a career-high 20 kills and logged a .531 hitting percentage. He also had three blocks, including two solo.

Calhoun amassed a career-high 10 kills and had two service aces.

Junior Casey Jackson had 10 kills while hitting .333.

Senior Evan Ingerick led the Cardinals with 28 assists.

Senior libero Gavin Newman had 15 digs, while Ingerick contributed 11.

The Cardinals won the first set 25-20, the second 25-23 and the third 25-21.

Fisher took control of the first set with a six-point run that made the score 21-15. Senior Ian Rauh had five kills in the set.

Rauh had six more kills in the second set to lead the Cardinals to a 25-23 victory.

Stella and junior Gabe La Robardiere tallied four kills as the Cardinals completed the sweep with a 25-21 victory in the fourth set.

Rauh paced the Cardinals with 13 kills and registered a .650 hitting percentage. Stella had nine kills, while La Robardiere slammed six.

Ingerick recorded 27 assists, seven digs and two service aces.
