ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher men's tennis team (0-6, 0-1 Empire 8) fell 6-3 to SUNY Oswego (2-2, 1-1 Empire 8) on Saturday afternoon at the Midtown Athletic Club.
Sophomore Tyler Hernandez improved to 3-2 in singles action this season, beating Anthony Marcano 6-2 in both sets.
The Cardinals took two of the three doubles matches to earn the point. Hernandez and junior Will Chub beat Matt Mannara and Anthony Marcano 6-4, and junior Sean Brown and sophomore Trentyn Grant beat Austin Davis and Jose Miguel Garcia Moreta 6-0.
