COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Five players had multi-goal performances in the No. 17 St. John Fisher men's lacrosse team's dominant 17-5 victory over Aurora University on Thursday afternoon at Colorado College's Washburn Field.
The Cardinals, who improved to 3-1 with the victory, outscored Aurora 15-3 after falling behind 2-0 in the first quarter. Fifth-year senior Timmy Salit and senior Kyler Ringgold scored three times, while seniors Brady Mason and Reed Currie and junior Nick Hauman scored two goals apiece.
Junior Tyler Manning (7) and senior Jack Gullo (4) combined to make 11 saves in net.
How It Happened

After Aurora scored twice in a span of 51 seconds in the first quarter, the Cardinals ripped off six unanswered goals before halftime. Hauman scored two of his goals during that stretch, while Currie, Salit, Mason and Ethan Kesselring each found the back of the net once.

The Cardinals continued to pour it on in the second half, outscoring Aurora 11-2. Salit scored twice in the third quarter, and Ringgold buried all three of his goals in the fourth.

Mason, Currie, Colin Blakeslee, Terrence Cleary, Braeden McNeill and Scott Bovard tallied one goal apiece in the second half.
