PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher baseball team dropped both games of its games in a doubleheader against Keuka College on Friday at Dugan Yard, falling 4-1 in the opener and 6-5 in 10 innings in the second game. With the results, the Cardinals moved to 8-11 on the season and 3-2 in conference play, while the Wolves improved to 8-8 overall (2-3 Empire 8).
GAME 1: Keuka 4, St. John Fisher 1
Fisher struck first in the bottom of the second when Jordan Perry singled, stole second and scored on a double to left by junior Benjamin Huckans.
The Wolves tied it in the fourth, then added an unearned run in the sixth and two more in the seventh to pull ahead.
Fisher threatened in the third when Jackson Frey doubled and advanced to third on a wild pitch, but he was later thrown out at the plate attempting to score on a double steal. The Cardinals got two on base in the seventh but couldn't rally.

Senior Ethan Fulton (2-3) took the loss, allowing four runs (one earned) on 11 hits with five strikeouts over six innings.

GAME 2: Keuka 6, St. John Fisher 5
Keuka got on the board first in the top of the second, using a two-out RBI single to take a 1-0 lead.
Fisher responded in the bottom of the fourth with a wild sequence. Jordan Perry launched what appeared to be a three-run home run to right but was ruled out for missing first base on a Keuka appeal. The Cardinals still picked up two runs on the play as Austin Droge and Mario Cubello came around to score, giving Fisher a 2-1 lead.
The Wolves tied it in the top of the seventh on a sacrifice fly, but Fisher answered in the bottom half. After Benjamin Huckans walked and stole second, he moved to third on an error and scored on Cubello's sacrifice fly to put Fisher ahead 3-2.
Keuka once again leveled the score in the top of the ninth, taking advantage of a hit batsman, a passed ball and an RBI single to send the game to extras.
In the 10th, the Wolves plated three runs with the help of a walk, a hit-by-pitch, a single and a sacrifice fly to go up 6-3. The Cardinals mounted one final rally — Jack Griffin reached on an error and scored on a wild pitch, while Brendan Bucello doubled and later scored on another wild pitch, bringing the deficit to 6-5. The tying run reached third base but was left stranded as Keuka escaped with the win.

Horton and Lang each added scoreless relief appearances, while Bowler (1-2) took the loss, allowing three runs in the 10th. Frank struck out the only batter he faced to end the top of the frame.
