POTSDAM, N.Y. – In a battle of nationally ranked teams, No. 15 St. John Fisher fought back from an early deficit but ultimately fell 11-9 to No. 12 St. Lawrence on Thursday at Hantz Field. The Cardinals dropped to 2-1 on the season, while the Saints improved to 3-0.
How It Happened
	- St. Lawrence took control early, jumping out to a 6-4 lead after the first quarter. Fisher tightened up defensively in the second, holding the Saints to just one goal, and cut its deficit to 7-6 by halftime after Nick Hauman and Jordan Leuze found the back of the net.
- The Saints extended their lead to 9-6 in the third, but Fisher battled back in the final quarter. Garrett Sutton buried a man-up goal at the 13:13 mark, followed by Ethan Kesselring's extra-man tally with 2:44 remaining, bringing the Cardinals within 10-9. However, St. Lawrence responded with a late insurance goal at 1:30 to secure the 11-9 victory.
