The Cardinals improved to 18-5 overall (13-1 Empire 8) and stayed in the running to be the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament. Hartwick dropped to 6-16 overall (4-10 Empire 8).

Tomasso, the Empire 8's leading scorer, had 19 points and 14 rebounds as part of her ninth double-double of the season. She shot 6 of 16 overall (1 of 5 from three) and 6 of 7 from the free-throw line.
