PITTSFORD, N.Y.– The St. John Fisher University men's basketball team fell 93–58 to Hobart College on Tuesday evening inside Manning & Napier Varsity Gymnasium. The loss moves Fisher to 1–2 on the young season.
How It Happened
Hobart took control early and never trailed, opening the game on a 15–6 run and leading 48–28 at halftime. The Cardinals found some rhythm in the second half behind efficient inside play from Jonathan McCaffrey and Maximus Michalski, but the Statesmen's hot shooting—58% from the floor and 39% from beyond the arc—proved too much to overcome. Fisher scored 32 points in the paint and received 29 from its bench, but Hobart's 26 points off turnovers helped seal the road win.
