ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher women's tennis team had its four-match winning streak snapped with a 6-1 loss to SUNY Geneseo on Friday evening at the Midtown Athletic Club.
Geneseo swept doubles and took five of six singles bouts. The Cardinals fell to 4-2 (4-1 Empire 8), while Geneseo moved to 5-2 overall (4-1 Empire 8).
St. John Fisher junior Lily Miller remained perfect (5-0) on the season in singles. She beat Rachel Molloy in three sets, taking the first one 6-3 before falling 1-6 and then finishing the win 10-6 in the final frame.
