ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The No. 21 University of Rochester men's soccer team (4-1-1) beat St. John Fisher (2-2-2) 4-0 on Tuesday night at Edwin Fauver Stadium.
The Yellowjackets led 3-0 at halftime after goals from Johnny Makula, Alessio Cristanetti-Walker and Pasquale Carusone in the first half. Elijose Araujo scored UR's fourth goal in the 67th minute.
Rochester outshot Fisher 22-9 overall, putting nine shots on goal compared to Fisher's two. Nick Rippe and Joey Avallone accounted for the Cardinals' shots on goal.
Fisher goalkeeper Christian Burkhart made four saves, the second-most he's had in a game this season.

The Cardinals face SUNY Geneseo at noon on Saturday in Geneseo. Fisher beat Geneseo 1-0 last September and has won two of the last three games in the series. The last four meetings have been decided by one goal.
