ORLANDO, FL – The St. John Fisher University women's tennis team dropped matches to Ursinus and Trine this week in Florida.

On Tuesday, the Cardinals fell to Ursinus, 7-2, in Kissimmee. In singles, freshman Lily Miller defeated Ursinus' Fiona Finnerty in straight sets, both by the score of 6-1. The other Cardinal win came from the third doubles team of sophomore Eliana Kelly and Miller, who won their matchup, 8-7, 4-2.

Senior Kathryn Strait had the lone win of Fisher's 8-1 Wednesday defeat to Trine, beating Elina Locane in three sets: 7(8)-6(6), 2-6, 1(10)-0(6). Miller also forced a third and final set, but lost in the tiebreaker. 

The Cardinals have now concluded their season with a record of 4-9.
