COLLEGEVILLE, PA – The St. John Fisher University men's lacrosse team fell to Ursinus College on Saturday, 7-5.
The Cardinals took an early lead thanks to two goals by senior Matthew Kemmis, and held a 3-2 lead going into the half. The Bears responded by outscoring Fisher 5-2 the rest of the way, scoring twice in the final 10 minutes of the game to break a tie and secure the final 7-5 result.
Kemmis led Fisher with two goals, while senior Timmy Salit had a goal and an assist. Sean Donaldson and Ethan Kesselring also scored.
Ben Hammond made 10 saves in goal.
The Cardinals return to play on Wednesday, March 20, when they host RIT. Gametime is 7:00 P.M.
