PITTSFORD, N.Y. — The St. John Fisher University women's volleyball team opened the final weekend of the regular season with a 3-0 sweep of the RIT Tigers on Friday night at Manning and Napier Varsity Gym.
The Cardinals won the first set 25-21, the second 25-18 and the third 25-23. They improved to 17-8 overall with the victory, while RIT fell to 18-12.
The Cardinals conclude the regular season with another non-conference match at noon on Saturday against Clarkson. Seniors Olivia Nellis (middle blocker) and Veronica Carr (manager) will be honored before the game.
