WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Seven St. John Fisher University wrestlers went undefeated in their brackets as the Cardinals opened the 2024-25 season on Sunday at the Lycoming College Invitational. 

Trevor Bishop (141 A), Shay Sinitiere (141 B) and Justin Coiteux (149 A) went 3-0 in their collegiate wrestling debuts. Sophomore Michael Rosenblum (157 B),  junior Torin Bishop (149 B), junior Trevor Sheehan (174) and sophomore Braydon Vandenberg (197) also posted 3-0 records in the open. 

Sinitiere won all three of his matches by fall in the 141 A freshman-sophomore bracket. He pinned Cole Neil (Penn State Behrend), who finished sixth at 133 pounds in the 2024 Southeast Regional, in his first collegiate match. 

Trevor Bishop and Sheehan also won all three of their matches by fall. It took Bishop less than a minute to pin two of his opponents. 

Vandenberg, ranked No. 12 nationally by the National Wrestling Coaches Association to start the season, had a major decision, a technical fall and a pin.
