OSWEGO, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher University field hockey team notched its first win of the season on Wednesday with a 3-2 win at Oswego State.
Junior Taylor Scrocca had four points on the night, with two assists and the game-winning goal in the 58th minute to break a 2-2 tie.
The other two goals for the Cardinals were by junior Molly Fisher in the second and fourth quarters. Fisher leads the team with three goals so far this season and was aggressive all night, leading both teams on the night with seven shots including six shots on goal.
Senior Sophia Trozzi earned the win with three saves on the night.
The Cardinals return to play on Saturday, Sept. 9, when they travel to SUNY New Paltz. Gametime is set for 1:30 P.M.
