HOUGHTON, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher University men's tennis team were on the road on Friday to compete in the semi-finals of the Empire 8 Championship Tournament. The Cardinals battled Nazareth College at Houghton University. Despite some close games, Fisher dropped the match to the Golden Flyers by a final score of 5-1.
Anthony Molosag and
Nick Licciarddello dropped their doubles match 8-0.
Sean Danahy and
Jake Anthony battled in their win against Nazareth, claiming the match 8-6.
Will Chubb and
Zach DeCaro were resilient in their doubles match, falling by a final score of 8-5. The Cardinals dropped three singles matches, with Danahy, Licciarddello and DeCaro falling in straight sets. This led to Chubb, Molosag and Anthony having their matches unfinished.
