PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher University men's basketball team head to Hartwick College and Russell Sage College this weekend as they open up Empire 8 Conference competition. The Cardinals are not done with their non-conference schedule, but they will take on some familiar foes in the Hawks and Gators.
Latest on the Empire
The Cardinals are coming off a year where they went 14-4 against conference competition and upset both Utica University and Nazareth University in the conference tournament to earn their first title since 2019-20. Sage has already surpassed their total wins last year (4) by winning five games so far. The Pioneers are the other one loss team in the conference.
