PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The St. John Fisher University men's basketball team hits the road this weekend for their first away games of the season, traveling to Middletown, PA for the Penn State Harrisburg Tipoff Tournament.

The Cardinals face Lebanon Valley College on Saturday, Nov. 11, at 6 p.m. before facing Penn State Harrisburg the following day at 3 p.m.

Here's what you need to know about this weekend's games:

Last Game Out
The Cardinals dropped their season opener to Hobart, 85-81, on Wednesday, Nov. 8. Fisher, behind by nine at the half, was able to tie the game in the second half but ultimately fell short. Sophomore guard Brendan McRoy led the Cardinals with 21 points.

Know Your Foes
St. John Fisher has faced Lebanon Valley only once in the program's history: a 66-58 victory in the opening round of the 2005 NCAA Tournament. Lebanon Valley dropped their first game of the season on Wednesday against Lycoming College, 67-55.

The Cardinals have never faced Penn State Harrisburg. The Lions won their opening game against Kean, 59-51.

Player to Watch
On Wednesday, graduate student Daniel Cook began his campaign to become the Empire 8's first four-time Player of the Year by scoring 17 points against Hobart while notching three assists and four blocks. The Pittsford-Mendon graduate led the Empire 8 last season in total points (531), field goals (198), free throws (125), tied for offensive rebounds (101), and was second in the conference for points per game (18.3), total rebounds (260), and rebounds per game (9.0).

What Comes Next
After the weekend trip to Pennsylvania, the Cardinals return home to host the Mark's Pizzeria Crosstown Shootout, with games scheduled against RIT and University of Rochester on Thursday and Saturday, respectively.
