The team's 51st season officially gets underway at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 3rd as Fisher welcomes Buffalo State to campus after having posted three straight wins over the Bengals including a 21-14 decision to begin last season.

From there, Fisher will embark on its longest road trip of the season as head coach Paul Vosburgh's squad makes its way to Framingham, Mass. where it will tangle with the Rams on September 10th.  Last season, in the two programs' first-ever meeting, Fisher came out on top, 38-7, behind three touchdowns from quarterback Hunter Walsh and two three takeaways on the defensive side of the ball.

On September 17th, Fisher will renew its rivalry with Hobart College in Geneva before closing out its non-conference slate with the reigning Liberty League champion, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, at 4 p.m. on September 24th as part of Alumni Weekend.  The Engineers posted 11 wins last year en route to an Elite 8 appearance.

As the month turns over, the Cardinals will jump into their conference schedule at 6 p.m. on October 1st beginning with SUNY Brockport as part of Courage Bowl XVII at Bob Boozer Field.  The game, which directly benefits Camp Good Days and Special Times, has become one of the best atmospheres in Division III as it routinely draws thousands of fans from across the region.  After winning each of the first 12 Courage Bowls, Fisher will look to get back to its winning ways as the Golden Eagles have come out on top in each of the last five meetings.

The following week, Fisher will host Morrisville State on October 8th before making the short trip to Alfred to take on the Saxons on October 15th.

After enjoying a bye week, the Cardinals will be back in action at home on Saturday, October 29th as Hartwick comes to town before Fisher heads to Cortland to do battle with the defending Empire 8 champion Red Dragons on November 5th.

The regular season is scheduled to come to an end at home as Fisher will duel Utica University inside Growney Stadium at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 12th.
