HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The St. John Fisher College men's tennis team continued its spring trip on Tuesday as the Cardinals fell to Messiah University, 7-2. With the loss, Fisher fell to 0-3 while the Falcons improved to 3-3 following the win.
After narrowly falling in first doubles, the Cardinals evened the match in the second flight as
Sean Danahy and
Jake Anthony paired for an 8-2 decision.
In singles competition, Fisher was able to pick up another point at fifth singles after
Jake Anthony completed a 6-0, 6-1 victory.
Fisher will return to action at 4 p.m. on Wednesday when they take on Penn State.
