HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The St. John Fisher College women's tennis team concluded its season in South Carolina on Thursday as the Cardinals fell to Catholic University of America, 6-3. With the defeat, Fisher fell to 6-8 on the year while the Cardinals improved to 5-5 overall.
After being swept in doubles play, Fisher found its footing in singles competition beginning with a 6-4, 6-2 win for
Mikayla Santulli at second singles.
Madison Galvin followed suit with a 6-2, 4-6, 10-2 win at third singles before
Riley Ellis held on for a 7-6, 6-4, 10-8 win at fifth singles.
