HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The St. John Fisher College men's tennis team was upended in the final game of its spring trip as the Cardinals fell to Albion College, 6-3, in Hilton Head, S.C. With the loss, Fisher slipped to 0-4 on the year.
Fisher earned a point at second doubles as the tandem on
Cameron Campbell and
Jon Sutherland came out ahead, 8-7 (7-3).
In singles play, Fisher's
Dustin McCullough was a winner in the first flight behind a 6-0, 7-5 effort while
Sean Danahy earned the team's third point after taking second singles, 6-3, 6-1.
Fisher will make its way back to Rochester where its scheduled for a 4 p.m. match on March 20th against Oneonta at Midtown Athletic Club.
