HILTON HEAD, SOUTH CAROLINA – The St. John Fisher College men's tennis team dropped its second match of the annual spring trip to Eastern Nazarene University.
The three doubles teams all fell to their Eastern Nazarene opponents, however the second and third doubles teams consisting of John Miller and Jarrett Pelton, and Jordan O'Connell and Jonathan Harper played their opponents to 8-4 battles.
Kevin Kulawiec took his bout with his Eastern Nazarene opponent into three sets but eventually fell with scores of 6-2, 7-6 and 10-6.
After Miller and Dustin McCullough fell in second and third singles, Harper would lose a hard fought, three set match in fourth singles.
Pelton and Mike Zintel would also fall in close matches in fifth and sixth singles.
Fisher returns to action at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday against the University of Mount Union on its third day of play in Hilton Head.
