The St. John Fisher College women's basketball team concluded the Gettysburg Tournament with a 67-45 loss to the host Bullets Tuesday evening. With the loss, Fisher falls to 3-6 on the season.
For the opening minutes of the game, the Cardinals and Bullets traded points, but Gettysburg made a small run at the end of the stanza and never let the lead go. Fisher pulled within 12 midway through the third, but once again the Bullets pulled away, leaving the Cardinals unable to make up the ground.
Nicole Robinson turned in a solid performance as her team-leading 12 points and 10 rebounds earned the junior her second double-double of the season and third of her career. The effort earned a spot on the All-Tournament team as well.
Fisher will open up its Empire 8 action next as it travels to Houghton for a 6 p.m. contest on Friday.
