The St. John Fisher College men's soccer team played Clarkson University to a 1-1 double overtime draw Saturday afternoon at Growney Stadium. With the tie, the Cardinals go to 1-3-1 on the year while Clarkson goes to 1-3-1.
After some back-and-forth action to start off the game, the Cardinals were the first to put a tally on the scoreboard.
Brian Norman got the play going, dribbling the ball to the left corner of the 18-yard box. He then aired out a pass to the far post where it met up with
Jeff Meyers. The freshman was able to put it away with his foot, scoring his fourth goal in the last three games.
Joe Catalfamo got the start between the pipes for the Cardinals, turning away four Golden Knight shots in 110 minutes of plays.
Fisher will return to action at 7 p.m. on Wednesday as the team travels to Brockport to take on the Golden Eagles.
