The St. John Fisher College men's tennis program closed out the regular season with a 5-4 win at Elmira College on Sunday.  With the victory, Fisher improves to 9-8 overall and 5-3 in the Empire 8 Conference.   The win also secures Fisher a post-season bid.  The Cardinals will be the No. 3 seed for next weekend's Empire 8 Championship, hosted by Stevens Institute of Technology.

Fisher took a 2-1 lead after doubles action.  John Miller and Jonathan Harper rallied from match-point to earn a 9-8 win at third doubles, while Kevin Kulawiec and Quinn Magiera won 8-0 at first doubles.
Kulawiec also earned a point at first singles with a 7-5, 6-4 win, while Magiera won 6-2, 6-1 at second singles.

Lone senior Christian Barnes earned the decisive point with a 6-4, 6-4 win at fourth singles.
