The St. John Fisher men's tennis team captured its sixth win of the season today against host Utica College in a 9-0 victory on Saturday.
Kevin Kulawiec, who was last week's recipient of both the Empire 8 Conference Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week and the Fisher Athlete of the week, won in first singles 6-5, 6-3.
In second singles,
Quinn Magiera defeated his opponent 6-2, 6-0, and teammate
Jacob Zarzycki won third singles in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0.
Christian Barnes also won in straight sets 6-0, 6-0 in fourth singles, while Jarret Pelton and
Vichaka Khoy each won 6-1, 6-1, and 6-1, 6-0, respectively.
In doubles action, Kulawiec and Magiera combined to defeat their opponents 9-7 in first doubles.

John Miller won second doubles 8-2, and Khoy and Stephen McCann won 8-2 in thirds.
The Cardinals face off at 1 p.m. next Saturday for a home match against Nazareth College.
