The St. John Fisher College men's tennis program defeated Alfred University 8-1 on Saturday afternoon in an Empire 8 Conference matchup.
In doubles play,
Kevin Kulawiec and partner
Quinn Magiera won their matchup in a close 9-7, while in second doubles teammates
Jacob Zarzycki and
Adam Moran defeated their opponents 8-3.
Jonathon Harper and
John Miller won in third doubles 8-5.
In singles play, Magiera won his match 6-0, 6-1 at second singles, while in third singles Zarzycki won 6-2, 6-2.
Fisher won all its matches besides first singles in which
Kevin Kulawiec was defeated 6-3, 6-1.
The Cardinals are back in action at 1 p.m. on Sunday when they travel to take on Elmira College in their last match of the season.
