RIT Defeats Men’s Tennis

The St. John Fisher College men's tennis team fell to host RIT 8-1 on Thursday afternoon in non-conference action.

Doubles partners Kevin Kulawiec and Quinn Magiera picked up the only win for Fisher, winning their matchup 8-6.

Kulawiec lost in first singles 6-3, 6-1, while Magiera lost 6-0, 3-6, 6-1.

Jacob Zarzycki fell to his opponent in third singles 6-0, 7-5, and in fourth singles senior Christian Barnes lost 8-2.

Zarzycki and partner Adam Moran lost second doubles by just two sets at 8-6, and in third doubles John Miller and Jonathon Harper lost 8-4.

Fisher will host Alfred University in their next match at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mendon Racquet Club.
